Acupuncture has been used over centuries in China as a traditional Chinese medical (TCM) treatment for diseases by applying a special acupuncture needle to certain specific acupuncture points of the body.

According to TCM, the body is divided into various meridians, each associated with a different organ system. Balance of the body’s organs holds the key to good health. Imbalance could lead to all kinds of illnesses.

By means of acupuncture, the flow of Qi or energy can be restored in the organs, thus curing the diseases.

Acupuncture can be used to treat joint pains, hypertension, digestive system disorders, low energy, hormone imbalance, migraines etc.

All of our acupuncturists have received vigorous TCM training and are members of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (TCMPAO).
